This is the first one of the season

This one is so small it must have just hatched. I found the praying mantis on my shoulder while working at the dock. There is so much variety of birds, insects, frogs and turtles.

The purple martins are the clowns of of the bird populations, their antics are amusing especially when they swoop and chase Fletcher while he chases the geese off the beach and docks.
