Indian Summer

The question is, did we have an Indian summer this year? Considering what the last couple of days have ushered in, COLD temperatures, below the freezing mark at night and bone chilling winds. The freezing of the bays, ponds and puddles are a sure sign that summer has long gone and fall is coming to an end.
The Ice huts are itching to get out on the lake.
Is it too late to have an Indian Summer?
